Getting started

Download BioCalendar from the App Store or Google Play, create an account and enter your date of birth. Your first reading is ready the moment you finish.

iPhone and iPad, and Android phones and tablets. Download it from the App Store or Google Play.

Every reading is counted from it: each cycle starts on the day you were born and repeats on its own fixed period. Without the date there is nothing to count from. Your date of birth stays on our servers and is never sent to anyone else.

No. The cycles are counted in whole days, so the date is all that is used.

Readings and the three cycles

A biorhythm is a cycle that a person is understood to move through on a fixed period. BioCalendar follows three: physical over 23 days, emotional over 28 and intellectual over 33. Each day, the position of all three together selects one of 512 written descriptions.

From your date of birth. The app works out where each of three cycles sits on a given day, physical over 23 days, emotional over 28 and intellectual over 33, using the same calculation every time, and matches that combination to one of 512 written descriptions. On Plus and Family Plus a personalised reading is also written for you each day.

Each cycle passes through eight states in turn, and each state has a symbol: a plus for the high phase, a hash for the fall from the peak, a minus for the low phase, a star for the climb back, H and L for the peak and the trough, and a small or capital C for the two critical days where the cycle crosses its midline.

How to read a biorhythm chart

A day on which a cycle crosses its midline and changes direction. Traditionally it is read as unsettled rather than bad: a day to notice how you feel, not a day on which anything will happen.

Critical days, explained

A single number for the day, made from the three cycle states together, on a scale from -3 to +10. It is a summary of where the cycles sit, not a score of how your day will go.

No. Studies that tested the theory did not find that the cycles predict performance, mood or events, and we say so plainly. People use BioCalendar as a daily prompt for reflection and a way of noticing patterns in their own lives, not as a forecast.

Are biorhythms real?

No. The readings are for entertainment and self-reflection. They are not medical, psychological, financial or safety advice, and they do not predict anything.

Subscriptions and billing

Every plan starts with seven days free, with every reading included. You choose a plan when you start, and nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel in the App Store or Google Play before then and you pay nothing.

Core and Plus for one person; Family and Family Plus for up to five people, each with their own login. Plus adds a personalised reading every day and the Companion; the Family plans add shared access and a way to compare days.

Pricing

Subscriptions are handled by the App Store or Google Play, so you cancel there: in your Apple ID or Google account subscriptions, not in the app. Cancelling keeps access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Sign in with the same account, then use Restore Purchases in the app's subscription settings. The store reconnects the plan you already own.

Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its rules. Apple and Google each have a refund request page. We cannot refund a store purchase ourselves.

You keep your account. Nothing you entered is deleted.

Family plans

One person pays and invites up to four others. Everyone has their own account and password. The payer can add and remove members from the Family tab.

Your name and where your cycles sit, so the app can show how your days compare. They cannot see your goals, your readings, your conversations, your "About you" answers, your email address or your date of birth.

You keep your account and everything in it. That plan no longer covers you.

The AI features

On Plus and Family Plus, a reading is written for you each day in words that fit your goals and what you told the app about yourself, and the Companion answers questions about your day or week in plain language. The cycle positions themselves are never produced by AI; the AI only writes the words around them.

Where your cycles sit that day, your goals, your "About you" answers, the date, and, for the Companion, what you type. Never your name, email address or date of birth.

Privacy Policy

It can help you think and plan, and it will tell you when a question is outside what it can help with. It does not give medical, financial or legal advice, and it does not predict anything. If a reply ever seems wrong, use the Report button on it.

Ninety days, then they are deleted automatically. You can delete them yourself at any time from the Companion screen.

Your account and data

On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot password?” and we'll email you a 6-digit code to set a new one. If you created your account with Apple or Google, use that same button to sign in instead: there is no BioCalendar password to reset. If the email hasn't arrived after a few minutes, check your spam folder, then write to us.

Check your spam or junk folder first. Each code only works for a short time, so if yours is old, tap “Send a new code” on the verification screen and use the newest email. Still nothing after a few minutes? Write to us from the address you signed up with.

In the app, open Settings and tap "Delete account". Your personal data is erased straight away and you are signed out everywhere. If you cannot get into the app, email us from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.

Account and data deletion

No. Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play. Cancel there first, or the store will keep charging you.

Email support@biocalendar.net, use the form on the support page, or, if you are signed in, the Help Center in the app under Settings. A person answers within two business days.

Support

Still a question? A person answers.

Write to support@biocalendar.net or use the form on the support page. We reply within two business days.

See you tomorrow

Start with seven free days.

Download BioCalendar, enter your birth date and choose a plan. Nothing is charged for the first seven days.

After seven days your plan renews through the App Store or Google Play unless you cancel before then.

Daily rhythms & self-reflection
